THE ORIGIN OF ABI
I did what I was supposed to do.
I joined the Marine Corps at 18. I built a career in government finance that lasted more than a decade. I made good money. I became a mother. I collected credentials, responsibilities, accomplishments, and plenty of lessons along the way. From the outside, there were plenty of reasons to call my life successful. But eventually, I had to admit something to myself:
A life can look successful and still no longer feel like yours.
And that realization changed the questions I was asking.
What do I actually want?
What do I believe I deserve?
Who am I when I'm not making decisions based on who I've been expected to be?
What would my life look like if I actually believed I could create something different?

THE VISION OF CORTNEY DENMARK
Everything is connected.
I began examining everything.
My relationship with money.
My relationship with work.
My beliefs.
My identity.
My definition of success.
My relationship with myself.
And I realized none of those things existed separately. When my mind changed, my decisions changed. When my relationship with myself changed, what I believed I deserved changed. When I started questioning what success meant to me, my relationship with work and money changed. And when I finally allowed myself to imagine a different life, I had to confront another question:
Was I just going to keep imagining it, or was I willing to participate in creating it?

CHOOSING DIFFERENTLY
So I started choosing.
Some choices were exciting. Some were terrifying. Some worked. Some absolutely did not. Some required faith. Some required accountability. Some required me to admit that something I once wanted no longer fit the person I was becoming. But every decision taught me something:
“You don't become someone new overnight.”
You become through the choices you make over and over again. You become when you decide you're worthy of something different. You become when you believe change is possible before you have proof. You become when you make the decision. And then,
You do something about it.

ALIGNED BEYOND IMAGINATION
ABI wasn't created because I figured life out.
It was created because I started paying attention while I was figuring mine out.
ABI grew from questioning, unlearning, healing, imagining, changing my mind, and eventually developing enough faith in myself to make different decisions. I don't believe we're meant to experience our lives in disconnected little boxes.
MIND · MONEY · GROWTH · SPIRIT · WORK + PURPOSE
They influence each other. And when we become intentional about how we're moving through each of them, we give ourselves the opportunity to create something different.
I DESERVE → I BELIEVE → I DECIDE → I DO → I BECOME
I'm not teaching that from some imaginary finish line. I'm living it.

My work isn’t built from one title. It’s built from everything I’ve learned, lived, questioned, rebuilt, and chosen along the way.
